This is the one I usually work out at either at the gym or my own home gym and I absolutely love it.
The power rack weights over 200 lbs and has a very sturdy build. The frame is Rugged 11 gauge with 2″ X 3″ Steel Tubing.
It comes with a chin up bar and isn’t too high (dimensions: 51.5 x 48.9 x 82.5 inches ) so makes for a good fit for home gyms.
When it comes to the design and build, it’s a literally a work of art and the quality of design isn’t limited to its visual appeal. You can easily rack it up with hundreds of pounds without hesitation.
The assembly process can be tricky and it is recommended to hire an assembler or find a friend who has experience with assembling power racks. It will save you a lot of time and frustration. I’d also recommend you to get an extra pair of J hooks and the hip attachment to make it a little more flexible for your workouts.

While doing pull ups the holes won’t bulge even if you weigh more than 200 pounds. Another impressive feature is the paint job and it seems like premium quality paint was used.

The whole rack weighs just over 200 lbs and is pretty sturdy. You won’t feel any wobble while doing chin-ups or lifting weight off the rack.
When it comes to the assembly process, there isn’t a lot of figuring out to do and you can easily assemble it by yourself. The rack is built to last and I don’t think you’d need a replacement for at least 5-6 years.
If you workout alone then you’ll find that the frame and spotting pins can really come handy in keeping you safe.
One key factor that you might affect you is that the rack is shorter than a majority of racks and while it could be a problem for users who are over 6-feet tall, it is a great feature if you have a low-ceiling and do not have a lot of room for higher power racks.

Titan power rack is both cheap and accommodating. It’s good to see that they didn’t make it compact just to bring their costs down.
It comes included with 1 inch round J hooks and 2 inch steel tubes. If assembling seems cumbersome to you, then the instruction manual provided can be quite helpful.
It is made with decent quality steel and don’t expect it to deliver the same sturdiness as high end power racks. But for the power racks we were quite satisfied with its performance. The pull bar is also built in.
It is slightly low in capacity (700 pounds) and the included pull bar has uncomfortable knurling, but it can easily be fixed with some webbing.
With an affordable price, free shipping and decent built, it isn’t a bad choice for beginners.

An affordable power rack with 5-star rating might be ideal for home gyms. But don’t let the low price fool you, it is a powerful sturdy rack. Talking about dimensions, its 48 x 83 x 48 inches and weighs close to 140 pounds. Since it stands at around 7 feet you can set it up in your basement.
There are 28 holes which are 2 inch apart which is perfect as far as safety is concerned.
Talking about its built, it is a solid power rack which is constructed with 12 gauge steel, and has a capacity of 800 pounds. This thing doesn’t bulge and the steel ensures maximum safety while doing squats.
It does compromise on the paint though and the paint might start to peel off. Other than that it doesn’t any have any other issues, its assembly is super easy too. You can also mark the holes with a marker.

Though I already have my BodyCraft F430, I also got a XMark Commercial squat rack to complement it and it has been a great investment.
On the XMark Commercial, you can do everything from squats, bench presses, upright rows, lunges, calf raises to dead lifts and more. However, I would recommend you to get a weight bench (read out recommendations here) to make sure you can make the most out of the rack.
The rack comes with a 400 lbs load capacity and offers 9 different position which makes it a lot more safer since you can easily rest your weights if things get a little out of hand.
The squat rack is very easy to put together and you won’t need any external help. The frame is 11 gauge steel and is as sturdy and solid as they get.
How to Buy the Right Power Rack?
Before you make the buying decision, keep these things in mind.
1. How much space do you have?
Power Racks come in different sizes and how much space you have available is something you definitely want to consider before buying one.
2. Does it come with all the accessories you want?
Make sure that the manufacturer offer all the addons and features that you might need in the future if you plan on doing compound exercises.
3. Is it the right height?
Find one that suits you. How does it match up with your height and that you’d be comfortable working out on.
4. Can you anchor it?
You’d generally want to be able to anchor the power rack to the ground to avoid any mishaps. However, make sure that the power rack actually does offer anchor holes so that you can actually do that.
5. Does it come with a stabilizer?
If for some reason you do not want to anchor the rack, then a stabilizer bar that runs across the bottom of the rack helps support it. However, it can be really annoying when working out as it will constantly come in contact with your feet or bench. If the rack does have a stabilizer then make sure it is removable.
6. How is it shipped and how much does it cost?
These racks are huge and if you’re the one paying for shipping then it can cost a lot of money to get it shipped to your home.
I’d recommend getting one from Amazon because the quality of shipping is as good as it gets and the majority of sellers have free-shipping available for power/squat racks.
